Custom Textbook Option (black and white)
Kinesiology the way you see it! This option gives you the flexibility to create and design your own custom publication from the 31 chapters available. You can also supply your own notes, labs, activities, and so on, which can be added to your selected chapters and printed as one complete custom package.

Peter Klavora
 Peter Klavora is an Associate Professor Emeritus from the Faculty of Physical Education and Health at the University of Toronto. Professor Klavora received his degrees from the University of Alberta and the University of British Columbia. For more than three decades, he was committed to teaching motor learning, sport psychology, coaching theory, and statistics and research methods at the University of Toronto. Early in his teaching career, Professor Klavora became interested in publishing in these fields. He authored, coauthored, and creatively edited over 40 texts, activity books, manuals, and guides. He also published 64 papers in refereed scientific and professional journals. Other creative professional work included the development of several innovative products and videos in the field of physical education.
Professor Klavora was an active member and president of the Canadian Society of Psychomotor Learning and Sport Psychology. He was also an international and national presenter at more than 60 scientific gatherings.

Quizzes are graded on the click of a button. Students get immediate feedback and can take the test as often as necessary to achieve a perfect score. - The Challenger or Bell Ringer Tests
Assigned tests are given a time limit. The test results are sent automatically to the instructor’s Real-time Grade Book. Choose from over 1,000 questions.
- Real-time Grade Book
Student grades from quizzes, tests, and bell ringers are recorded automatically and can be exported to an excel spreadsheet, as a pdf document, a csv file, or other course managing systems. Crossword puzzle results can also be recorded to award bonus points to students.
- Review Flashcards
Questions are posed on one side of the card and answers are provided on the other side. Can be used as an interactive way to review the key terms in the textbook or to test your understanding of these terms with fill-in-the-blanks and other questions. Choose from over 400 items.
- Crosswords
Using puzzles as a learning tool allows students to learn and have fun at the same time. Interactive, challenging, and fun – these crosswords are sure to motivate, stimulate, and encourage student achievement. If assigned as “homework,” completed puzzles can also be sent to the Real-time Grade Book. Helps instructors gage student progress and their grasp of the material. One to three puzzles per chapter.
- PowerPoint Presentations
Slideshow presentations created in Microsoft PowerPoint© for each textbook chapter have been converted to pdf format for printing. These printable slides make great teaching and learning tools for presenting chapter reviews and a great asset for visual learners.
